A 3D virtual platform will connect leading European institutes of higher education with Indian students from November 24-26

The sixth edition of the European Higher Education Virtual Exhibition (EHEVF) will take place in India from 24-26 November 2021, with a 3D virtual platform that will connect leading European higher education institutes with Indian students. The fair aims to promote Europe as a higher education and research destination for Indian students who are planning to study abroad in 2022.

120 higher education institutions from 24 EU member states including Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Malta, the Netherlands, and will be Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain and Sweden are present at the fair. Norway participates as an associate country in the European Union Erasmus+ programme.

Some of the top-ranked European universities (according to the QS World University Rankings 2022) are participating this year. These include Trinity College, University College Cork and University of Dublin from Ireland; Wageningen University and Research, University of Leiden, and University of Groningen from the Netherlands; Aarhus University, Denmark; University of Twente, Netherlands; Radboud University, The Netherlands. Free University of Brussels and University of Antwerp, Belgium; Università degli studi di Padova, Italy; University of Navarra and BarcelonaTECH from Spain; University of Tartu, Estonia; and the University of Catalonia Politecnica. Students will have the opportunity to interact and choose from a range of universities and courses.

The European Higher Education Virtual Expo 2021 will provide Indian students with the opportunity to interact with the world-class institutions available in Europe and help with practical steps on how to gain admission into one of these.

According to His Excellency Ugo Astuto, Ambassador of the European Union, the choice of country, university and course to pursue higher education is a fundamental decision. EHEVF brings together the European Union, its member states, universities and educational institutions on a single platform, making it easier for students to gain insights into the European higher education landscape and make an informed decision. Student mobility is an important aspect of interpersonal contacts, which enhances communication between the EU and India through academic and cultural exchanges.

Virtual Exhibition: The live meeting with European universities will be packed with activities, including webinars on specialized courses and programmes, country-specific presentations, and face-to-face conversations with representatives, alumni and scholars from participating schools and universities.

Students will be able to interact with European universities through webinars, live chats and video calls and learn about higher education opportunities offered by the participating institutes. Aspiring students who log into the virtual gallery will receive trusted advice and information directly from university staff.

The virtual exhibition will host City Hall Discussions at the end of each day from 6.45pm to 7.30pm.

The discussions will be on the following topics:
